Creditrans is the result of a Framework Agreement for Fares signed by and between Basque institutions. It is the first step towards coordinating the different transportation networks in such a way that the citizen sees them as a whole.

It is a uniform ticket for different companies with different zones and different fares and the Biscay Transport Consortium is the one which issues and administers it as well as taking care of the task of distributing the income among the different operators on the basis of the number of sales made by each one.

Its launching has brought about benefits for the Public Transport user, especially and fundamentally regarding discounts and ease.
