The prices are set according to the number of zones crossed during the trip. The existing zones include the following stations:

1- Bilbao Abando, Miribilla, La Peña, Zabalburu, Ametzola, Autonomía, San Mamés, Olabeaga, Zorrotza.
2- Lutxana, Barakaldo, Sestao, La Iberia, Portugalete, Peñota, Santurtzi, Ollargan, Bidebieta-Basauri, Abaroa-S. Miguel, Basauri, Arrigorriaga, Galindo, Trapaga, Valle de Trápaga-Trapagaran, Urioste, Sad. Familia, Ortuella, Gallarta, Putxeta.
3- Ugao-Miraballes, Bakola, Arrankudiaga, Arbide, Arakaldo, Muskiz.
4- Areta, Llodio, Stra. Cruz de Llodio, Luiaondo
5- Salbio, Amurrio Iparralde, Amurrio, Iñanatxu, Orduña.

The kinds of TICKETS and the FARES to be applied are

  • CREDITRANS

    A card with money for riding on public transport and in which the price of each trip is deducted.
    It is good for group trips.
    Transferable.
    It may be purchased by anyone in ticket machines located at metro stations.
    There are 3 prices for the Creditrans: 5 €, 10 € and 15 €.

    Fares for each trip:
    1 Zone: 1.01 €
    2 Zones: 1.35 €
    3 Zones: 1.46 €
    4 Zones: 1.79 €
    5 Zones: 2.30 €

  • HIRUKOTRANS

    A card with money for riding on public transport and in which the price of each trip is deducted.
    It is good for Large Family: General (F20) and Special (F50)
    Personal and non-transferable
    It may be purchased by anyone in ticket machines located at metro stations.
    There is price for the Hirukotrans: 5 €.

    Fares F20 for each trip:
    1 zone: 0.81 €
    2 zones: 1.08 €
    3 zones: 1.17 €
    4 zones: 1.43 €
    5 zones: 1.84 €

    Fares F50 for each trip:
    1 zone: 0.51 €
    2 zones: 0.68 €
    3 zones: 0.73 €
    4 zones: 0.90 €
    5 zones: 1.15 €

  • SINGLE TICKET
    To be used on a daily basis for a single trip. Children under six can travel free if not occupying a seat, up to three children per adult.

    1 zone: 1.60 €
    2 zones: 1.75 €
    3 zones: 1.85 €
    4 zones: 2.40 €
    5 zones: 3.15 €

  • RETURN TICKET

    For two trips (one single and another a return trip) to be used on work days. There is no discount on Saturdays and holidays, a return ticket is double that of a one way ticket.

    1 zones: 3.20 €
    2 zones: 3.50 €
    3 zones: 3.70 €
    4 zones: 4.80 €
    5 zones: 6.30 €

  • MONTHLY PASS

    A pass with the possibility of making two trips from day "n" ( start date of validity) to day "n-1" of the following month.

    3 zones: 36.05 €
    4 zones: 52.00 €
    5 zones: 61.45 €

  • UNLIMITED MONTHLY PASS

    A pass with the possibility of making unlimited trips from day "n" ( start date of validity) to day "n-1" of the following month.

    5 zones: 67.75 €
